The Noisettes are an English indie rock band from London, fronted by Shingai Shoniwa. The band has achieved commercial success and international recognition.

 

THE ASK

As the Noisettes embarked on their first Asia tour (in collaboration with Gnossem), they wanted to capture the adventures of the band and the fierce personality of their stunning and talented frontwoman Shingai Shoniwa, as a role model to strong women everywhere. During promotional events, Shingai would also provide commentary on fashion and her personal sense of style.

 

THE TASK

BoomBoom produced and directed a documentary covering the band’s journey, performances, and Shingai’s views on women and fashion. For a sense of authenticity and intimacy into the Noisettes’ world, a hand-held look was used during shooting. In addition, numerous photoshoots in exotic Singapore locations were arranged. The various content was used across web, print, and social media.
